Bartender/Assistant Manager, Le Thai
What was your favorite subject in school?
English because no matter how much you think you may know, there's always another grammar rule right around the corner.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Returning to school. It may have taken me a few years, but I waited until I had a better understanding of what I wanted.
If someone were to make a movie about your life, who would you hope play you?
Leighton Meester. I feel like her wit and sass would be perfect to portray me (plus, I love her).
What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your life?
I worked with children for about six years – craziest six years of my working life. I've been crammed into a little office for eight hours a day. I've worked the pools at a busy casino during the hot, hot summer and now I'm at a popular restaurant downtown.
Do you have a favorite quote or saying that inspires you?
There's a quote in Julius Caesar that has always stayed in my mind, "Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once."
If you could try out any job for a day, what would you like to try?
I'd like to be a teacher and experience all the hardships us students put them through each day.
Who was your childhood celebrity crush?
What girl didn't love Justin Timberlake?
Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
IKEA! I am so excited for the Vegas location.
The last concert you attended?
Life Is Beautiful. It was my first year and such an amazing experience.
What is your favorite downtown venue?
The Griffin. I love the dark candlelit atmosphere and staff.
