Be honest with us here – do you consider yourself an O Face Doughnuts junkie? Do you regularly get your fix of their legendary doughnuts and deep-fried savory delights? Are you obsessed with what is possibly the greatest coffee in the Silver State? If so, you need to know O Face recently added homemade cinnamon rolls, cookies, granola, and oatmeal to its already tantalizing menu.
The quick organic oatmeal, made in-house, is sold in PB&J as well as Maple and Fruit ($3), which features hearty oats, chia seeds, thinly sliced almonds, and the natural sweetness of dried pears and blueberries. (Pro tip: add a little of your own fresh fruit and take your oatmeal experience to another level.) With a four minute steep, this oatmeal is the ultimate quick and healthy breakfast, and the perfect grab-and-go treat for a busy morning.
A doughnut shop that makes cinnamon rolls?! Why didn’t we think of this earlier? O Face’s cinnamon roll ($4.75) is spirally, sugary, ooey-gooey goodness. It’s so satisfying you almost won’t need to order that doughnut chaser.
In addition to oatmeal and cinnamon rolls, O Face has introduced house-made brownies, cookies, and granola to its arsenal. With three flavors to choose from – chocolate chip, chocolate espresso toffee, and white chocolate cherry pistachio – O Face’s cookies ($1.25) are perfectly packaged to take with you anywhere. (Another pro tip: there is nothing better than the chocolate espresso cookie dunked in coffee.) The brownie ($1.25) is dense and moist and chock-full of chocolate; you’ll wish you’d bought two.
Finally, there’s ordinary granola, and then there’s extraordinary granola, and O Face’s granola is definitely the latter. Available in eight ounces ($6.50) and 16 ounces ($13), hearty grains, nuts, and dried fruits have never tasted so unpretentiously delicious. Serve with milk or sprinkle over yogurt – we promise you’ll never look at granola the same again.
And by the way, if you’re still an O Face virgin, please stop whatever you’re doing and make your way to their cozy shop on 6th and Carson for your first taste of deep-fried heaven. You'll thank us.
